PORTOBELLO PROMENADE 4 MILE RACE
THURDAY, 19th JUNE 2008
On a sunny but windy June evening some ERN's and friends took part in the annual Portobello Running Club 4 Mile Race. This event is an enter-on-the-day race with an excellent supporting children's 1 Mile Fun Run starting 30 minutes before the main event at 1915. The race registration and finish area was at the Towerbank Primary playground area at Portobello Promenade. The race was exposed as you might expect but a great sense of achievement on completion; enjoyed by all, well marshaled, friendly and good value at £5 for SAL members. Thanks to PRC for an enjoyable, well organised event.
