FIRST ERN SPRING SUNDAY RUN.
MEADOWBANK SPORT CENTRE. 24th JANUARY 2010.

The first Sunday run of the year saw an excellent 21 runners out taking in either an eight mile or a five mile run, both starting and finishing at Meadowbank SC. It was overcast and misty, but otherwise excellent running conditions, and the Meadowbank SC cafe welcomed everyone back for coffee and stickies where it was good to meet up with Jo, Jon and young James Parry. There was a surprise birthday cake and presents for Murdo who had sneaked past 50 but got caught. Gobsmacked, surprised and speechless for once, Murdo extends his thanks to everyone for their kindness and thoughts - much appreciated. Aicha had also baked a superb yummy cake and there wasn't a crumb left, which speaks for its quality. A great start to the year's training.
