EDINBURGH HALF MARATHON
SUNDAY, 16th MARCH 2008
Krista & Fi in action!
A number of ERNs took part in the Edinburgh Half this year posting some impressive times. A good event by all accounts.
Fiona wrote "Managed to finish the half marathon today without further injury & indeed enjoying the run. Krista & I ran 2 miles & walked a minute - good to take gels, drink without choking and sort all other sundries out, & finished in 2.15.heart rates never above 85% could have gone faster, but wouldn't have been so much fun! Goody bag has epic chocolate shortbread. Brendan has asked why they don't tell whats going to be in goody bag before - he might have considered it! Forgot to mention that Phil finished in a barnstorming time of somewhere around 90 mins + a wee bit. Aicha finished ahead of me & Krista too[i think]"
