ERN SPRING SUNDAY RUN. "SNOWDROPS".
SATURDAY 20th & SUNDAY 21st FEBRUARY 2010.

Because of Tracy’s birthday bash on Saturday night, this weekend’s runs were held on Saturday morning and repeated again on Sunday. That allowed those that wanted, the opportunity to stay in their scratcher on Sunday a wee bit longer. Beautiful sunny, if frosty, weather saw nine (Jo, Jo, Tracy, Hayley, Murdo, Chris, Ros, Karen and Maria) out Saturday and fifteen (George, Susie, Laurie, Jack, Deirdre, Grigor, Gordon, Aicha, Murdo, Heather, Gillian, Fiona, Brendan, Ursula and Emma) out on Sunday. The run went from Portobello Baths out to Musselburgh, round the Ash Lagoons to Levenhall where the eight-milers peeled off and returned via Musselburgh and Joppa to the start. The remainder followed the twelve mile route up the River Esk walkway to Monktonhall, Queen Margaret University, Newcraighall, Brunstane and back to the Baths for coffee, tea and stickies. An excellent weekend’s running all told.
Also, many happy returns from all at ERN to Tracy who hosted her birthday party at the Washbar on Saturday night. Excellent food, drink and especially the company made for a great night out.
