ERN SPRING RUN: LEITH VICTORIA BATHS

"Just a quick note to report on Sunday's run from Leith Vic Baths: a whopping two people turned up to keep the ERN Sunday run tradition going - myself and Heather. Having had a quick squint at the route the night before, I reckoned I could remember it well enough, and it was a gorgeous morning for a run, so we gave it a shot - pic attached of us down by the Water of Leith after our warm-up. The route was very enjoyable and there were no problems with the navigation until we got past the Botanics, where in a burst of enthusiasm (and a slight forgetting of the route) we went via Eildon St up to Fiveways again and back down the Trinity path, before finishing as we had started via Sandport Pl, all in all making it about 8.5 miles. Neither of us would have done that distance without the other's company, which is what ERN is all about! - Ellie"
