INVERLEITH CIRCUIT
SUNDAY, 31st AUGUST 2008
The close dry morning gave way to rain halfway through this new route starting from Ainslie Park Sports Centre. The run went south to Inverleith Park, the Stockbridge Colonies and back via cycle tracks and Victoria Park. Two new runners, Kristen and Lucy - hope to see them again - joined Murdo and Jo. We also welcomed back Aicha following her wedding to Alan and their honeymoon in India - the weather was better than our summer I bet!. A nice run, mostly on quiet streets or on cycle tracks. Sports Centre was very busy for a Sunday morning but allowed a wee stretch before the upcoming Glasgow Half (Murdo & Jo) and the Great North Run (Kristen).
